Exploring Colorado's Stunning Aspen Trees: A Must-See Destination for Disabled Travelers in the Fall

Greetings fellow nature lovers and travelers! It's been a while since I blogged and with good reason. This spicy girl decided that life wasn't interesting enough and that being a trapeze artist might be my calling. Well.....that didn't pan out very well. I'm writing this sporting a brand new hip, courtesy of a small slip in judgement. Seems my mobility scooter can be drunk, I mean tipsy, I mean the dang thing falls over! That was seven weeks ago and this is my first outing since a three week hospital stay, but getting back on that horse and putting my accident in the rear view mirror is what I'm doing.

This week, we embarked on a journey to the beautiful mountain town of Crested Butte Colorado to discover the incredible beauty of Colorado's Aspen trees. While Vermont may be renowned for its maples, Colorado's Aspens hold a charm and allure all their own, especially during the beautiful fall season.

Discovering the Enchantment of Colorado's Aspens

As a disabled traveler seeking the perfect destination to witness nature's grandeur, look no further than the Colorado mountains. Imagine driving through vibrant forests painted in hues of gold, orange, and red, with the gentle rustle of leaves filling the air. Colorado's Aspen trees, with their iconic white bark and golden leaves, create a spectacle that is nothing short of magical.

Embracing the Magic of Fall Colors

As you wander through the aspen groves, whether by vehicle, bike or scooter or your own foot or two, you'll be greeted by a tapestry of colors that seem to move in harmony with the autumn breeze. The vibrant foliage serves as a breathtaking backdrop, offering endless opportunities for photography, and a connection with nature. Colorado's Aspen trees truly come alive during the fall season, painting a canvas that is simply stunning.
